Remote Monitoring
The first ever remote monitoring system for hydraulic rock breakers, RD3 provides:
- real-time data on operating hours,
- how the rockbreaker is being operated,
- advice on service intervals and
- exact location of the equipment.
The RD3 monitoring device is attached to the rockbreaker and by using advanced electronics to sense the impacts and stresses on the rockbreaker, RD3 reports back to the customer detailed information about the rockbreaking operation in real time via cloud based SAM platform.
With remote monitoring systems you will see all the data 24/7 on operating hours, how the rockbreaker is being operated and required service intervals helping you manage service periods and minimize machinery downtime by scheduling maintenance during times of least impact on production.
Productivity
Rockbreaker innovations such as constant blow energy, idle blow protection, attachment-mounted dust suppression, automatic lubrication and membrane accumulator ensure high breaking power and optimum uptime.
- A membrane type accumulator protects the carrier from hydraulic pulsations and eliminates the need for weekly maintenance.
- A built-in grease port and channels make Auto Lube and/or Rammer's own Ramlube installation easy and ensures efficient lubrication.
- A built-in Air port/channel enables easy underwater conversion or the usage of Rammer's RamAir either in tunneling applications and/or dusty environments for a longer wear part life span.
Easy Maintenance
Manufactured with a heavy duty housing and a wear resistant lower boot for maximum wear resistance, the Rammer Large Range rockbreakers are designed to be easily maintained and reliable, regardless of the application.
- Rammer's sealed high pressure membrane accumulator is gas leakage proof and does not require re-fill or any special sealing system.
- Idle Blow Protection (IBP) – that can be adjusted easily on site – protects the tool from failures, reduces tie rod stress and ensures the rockbreaker can’t be operated until pressure is placed on the tool
- Lower tool bushing can be rotated or replaced on site by removing the two easy-to-use pins
- The Idle Blow Protection (IBP) ensures the hammer cannot be operated until pressure is placed on tool. This eliminates tie rod stress, reduces oil overheating and protects against premature failures.
