Stabilisers

SIMEX Stabilisers
SIMEX Stabilisers are perfect for stabilising and rehabilitating existing worn and damaged roads and streets. SIMEX Stabilisers can pulverise, crush and mix road base with additives such as lime, cement, fly ash or other binding agents up to a depth of 250mm. This process strengthens and improves road base in preparation for the application of new wearing road surfaces. Due to the exclusive self-leveling system, milling depth is constant in any condition.
SIMEX Stabiliser's compact design makes it perfect for minor road rectification and restricted area works providing an excellent solution for Councils, Contractors and Maintenance Teams.

High Performance
Productivity
Efficient sub-layer consolidation with safe material control
The milled material stays within the work area, and there is no risk of accidental material ejection as the side panels adhere securely to the work surface.

Why choose a SIMEX Stabiliser?
The advantages of Simex Self-Levelling Stabilisers are various:
- Self-Levelling system (Simex patent) ensures Constant planing depth
- Maximum safety
- Optimal visibility for the operator
- Excellent mixing
- Lateral support slides guarantee max stability and no vibration
- Minimal material spill outs
- Hydraulic side shift ensures perfect surfaces with side-by-side passes
Applications
- Stabilising and rehabilitating existing damaged roads
- Road base preparation for the application of new wearing road surfaces

Ground Stabilisation
Soil stabilisation with lime or cement is a crucial process for improving soil sub-layers before compacting and paving. Stabilisation involves using soil already present on site, adding the most suitable binder for soil characteristics, without removing and disposing material. The end result is a substantial improvement on the geotechnical characteristics of the existing soil, increasing its bearing capacity. The soil, mixed with the binder, becomes less sensitive to the action of atmospheric agents.
With the SIMEX Stabilisers you can maintain constant milling depth in any condition regardless of the ground contour as lateral slides on the planer automatically align to the milling surface.
